Prior to joining the VA as Director of Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics Mr. Dionne spent over thirty years in the private sector as Chief Executive Officer of a number of health care organizations across the country. Mr. Dionne holds a Master of Science Degree from Rensselaer at Hartford, Hartford, CT, and Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Connecticut. He is also a Vietnam Combat Veteran who served two tours, and was honorably discharged from the Army in 1971. As one of VA’s only free standing rehabilitation center, our 450-bed facility serves as a regional and national resource for underserved special populations, rural healthcare clinics include: Klamath Falls and Grants Pass Clinics which provides primary and mental health care
Sharee Taylor | 541-826-2111
Dr. Sharee Taylor, a native of Miami, Florida, received her degree in Health Information Management (HIM) from Florida A&M University , her Master’s in Public Administration from Troy State University, and her PhD from Capella University in Human Services. Dr. Taylor comes to VA SORCC with over 15 years of experience in Healthcare Management. After establishing her career with various private sector hospitals in the state of Florida, she began her federal career as an Outpatient Coder at James A. Haley Medical Center in Tampa, FL. Dr. Taylor participated in the HIM Technical Career Field National Internship Program with VHA where she spent time working at George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. After completing the program, she became the Assistant Chief, HIM at North Texas VA Medical Center in Dallas, TX where she successfully executed multi-million dollar operations and managed the HIM Service Line. Prior to her arrival at VA SORRC, Dr. Taylor was the Chief, HIM at Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center where she built strong clinical and administrative relationships through analyzation and evaluation of data relative to healthcare delivery systems and operations.

Chief of Staff
Dr. Cellura has been employed with the VA SORCC since 2014. She has lived in the Rogue Valley since 2008. She is board certified in Family Practice, and completed her medical training at Nova Southeastern University in Florida as a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. She spends her time running, reading and enjoying her husband and four children.

Associate Chief Nurse Executive
Dr. Susan Thurston was appointed ADPCS/Nurse Executive August 2017. She joined VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics (VA SORCC) in 2012, and Portland VA Health Care System in 2001. Dr. Thurston received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2012 from Rush University, Chicago Illinois. She brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role, with a 30 year nursing career which includes: medical, surgical, emergency, critical care, critical care educator, infection prevention, simulation and Associate Chief Nurse roles.
