Mission/Vision

To offer a full program of professional, technical, efficient, and consultative Human Resource services to both internal and external contacts in an efficient and customer service focused environment.

Service

The Human Resource Office has responsibility for oversight and accountability to ensure adherence to all federal and VHA HR regulations, policies, performance, and that reporting requirements are met. 

• HR Specialists provide consultative and technical and administrative advice, and perform functions that include training and experienced knowledge of processes to assist with the needs of managers and supervisors for all HR program areas on a daily basis. 
• HR Assistants provide technical advice, clerical support, and front-line customer service on employment, benefit, and the processing of information for internal and external visitors to the HR office. HR Assistants are the liaison between the PAID/DFAS accounting system to support and maintain the employee master record for all SORCC staff.  
• The total HRMS program supports the SORCC organization as a vital partner in referring and supporting highly-qualified individuals who work at the facility and are able to perform the clinical and administrative functions required to provide the full continuum of holistic Veteran and family focused care as a Veteran preferred healthcare system.
