Outpatient SUD Specialty Clinic
Mission/Vision
The mission of the SORCC Outpatient SUD Specialty Clinic is to deliver evidence-based therapies to help Veterans learn recovery skills and develop recovery resources based on their identified strengths, needs, abilities and preferences. The SUD helps Veterans identify the negative consequences of their substance use, develop individual recovery goals and objectives, learn how to prevent relapse, and practice recovery skills in a supportive group environment.
Scope of Service
Outpatient SUD Specialty Clinic promotes recovery through the use of motivational interviewing, stages of change, cognitive-behavioral, contingency management, community reintegration and relapse prevention modalities.
Additional services include:
- Primary Care Substance Use Disorder (SUD) evaluation and consultation, VA SORCC and Klamath Falls CBOC.
- Regular Outpatient Substance Use Disorder (SUD) services delivered in downtown Medford and Klamath Falls.
- Veterans Justice Outreach services in Southern Oregon and Northern California.
- Intensive Outpatient Program (SUD-IOP) and SUD Aftercare services (days and evenings) on the campus of SORCC.
